Knotted braids is a type of French braid, but they are similar to Dutch Braids and French braids.

French Braids, Dutch Braids, and Fishtail Braids are about the same, but they’re not.

Items needed:

  • Brush

  • Rat-tail comb

  • Spray bottle

  • 2 small hair elastic

  • Spray or spray wax (if desired)

Step by step instructions:

  1. Start by parting the hair down the middle.

  2. Doing this on wet hair is recommended. If your hair is dry, spray a little water to dampen the hair.

  3. Go to the top front part of your hair. Pick up the small pieces of and divide it into two sections.

  4. Take the left section under the right and tie a knot like a shoelace.

  5. Add hair to both pieces and use the same technique as step 4.

  6. Repeat steps 4-5 until you run out of new hair to add.

  7. Rescue with an elastic.

  8. Repeat steps 3-7 on the opposite side of the head.

  9. You can add ribbons for a pop of fun.
